Quick Start: Displaying Panels on Your Store

1 Create or Edit a Product Label:

Open Nutrilab: Nutrition Facts from your Shopify Admin Apps menu. Select your target food, supplement, or pet product. Enter serving size, calories, and nutrient amounts (or use the Vision AI Scanner or Barcode lookup to auto-fill).

2 Customize Panel Design:

Go to the Design & Linking tab to choose from 6 preset palettes or match your brand's exact line, border, and text colors.

3 Save to Shopify Metafields:

Click Save & Sync to Storefront. Your data is instantly saved directly to your product's native nutrition.facts_data metafield.

4 Add the Theme App Block in Shopify Theme Editor:
  1. Go to Shopify Admin > Online Store > Themes.
  2. Click Customize on your current theme.
  3. Navigate to any Product page template.
  4. Under the Product information section, click Add block.
  5. Select Nutrilab: Nutrition Facts from Apps.
  6. Drag and drop the block to your desired position and click Save!

Will this app slow down my storefront?
No! Nutrilab: Nutrition Facts uses 100% Server-Side Rendered (SSR) Liquid and lightweight Vanilla CSS via Shopify Theme App Extensions. It has zero render-blocking JavaScript and does not make any external API requests from your shoppers' browsers.

Does it support variant-specific nutrition facts?
Yes! You can assign different nutrition facts to individual flavor or size variants. The panel switches seamlessly when the customer selects different variant options.

Does it include SEO schema?
Yes! The theme block automatically injects structured JSON-LD (schema.org/NutritionInformation) for Google rich results.
